She was so proud! She used caramel popcorn that my mom brought over a few days earlier, and the leftover movie theater popcorn from last night and poured it into every container she could think of! She told me that it was for Curious George's preschool class.
London has the greatest imagination! She constantly talks about her husband (the man with the yellow hat) and her "kid" (Curious George.) They have neighbors, Betsy and Steve, and London is always talking on the phone with her friend Nancy. None of these people actually exist. Well, I came back upstairs, and was again summoned downstairs. This was the conversation...
London: Mommy, come down here to the party!
Me: What kind of party is it?
L: It's my husband's birthday party!
Matt: How old is he now?
L: He's 20 months old!
Matt: Why isn't he here at the party?
L: He's down in the River Jordan... (she got this one from her favorite primary song!)
Me: Why is he there?
L: Well someone had to be with our kid!
London gets so happy talking about her husband! At night, she says we need to leave sunglasses on the little table next to her bed because she'll need them when her husband comes to read scriptures with her. She also has us leave on a lamp because "me and my husband always talk before bed time." She cracks me up!
One last London story, I swear! Last night, we were coming home from seeing Kung Fu Panda with the kids. Matt and I were talking and then we heard, "Seriously, you're killing me! Really you guys, you're killing me!" We looked back and trying not to laugh asked London what we were doing that was "killing her." She looked at us and said, "the talking. Your talking is too much. Seriously!" I can't say much because she sounds just like me!
