We're campers!

York and jenny invited us up camping with them last night! I'm not much of a camper, but we gave it a try! We have had so much fun! The kids have had a blast playing on the ranger, 4 wheelers, swimming, and playing with their cousins! And other than Matt, pip, and I having to leave last night because Matt has a terrible kidney infection; it's been the funniest weekend we've had in a long time!

Spring time for Pippi!

Just discovered blogging via iPhone! Heavenly! Pip spent the afternoon playing with her little neighbor friend, Jordan. So cute to see Pip finally playing with other kids that aren't family!

Our first garden!

We planted our first garden tonight! A friend in our ward donated some land so we could all do family gardens, and we're taking full advantage! We planted corn, radishes, green beans, carrots, peas, zucchini, cucumbers, and more! Matt's stepdad Donald came to visit today and to lens his expertise! What a fun family night!!!

Legoland 2012

We surprised the kiddos with this trip, and each of them had a special surprise day. Legoland was Beck's day! He loves all things Lego! Legoland did not disappoint! Not crowded, beautiful weather, and TONS to do! We'll definitely be going back! We couldn't get to everything in just one day! Beck was thrilled to pick out his souvineer here; a big limited edition Lego set. Great day!

Pip was barely big enough to be on this ride. She was so funny! The poor attendant was by her side the entire ride because she got stuck everytime she turned!

San Diego...the beach!

One of the few pics that I'm in! I like to be the one taking the pictures, not in them! Poor Pippi... She was so sunburned from a long day at Legoland, and was freezing and so tired! She cheered up a bit after we snuggled her in Beck's Ladybugs (his blanket). Beautiful evening on the beach!

Sea World (San Diego Continued!)

What San Diego trip is complete without a trip to Sea World? I haven't been since I was a kid, so I was excited too! All was well and fun until the power went out just before lunch time! It was out for a couple of hours! Did it make a difference, you ask? Um, yeah. No bathrooms, no food, no microphones for shows... you get the picture! Luckily we brought in snacks to tide us over until we could actually buy some lunch! The shows were ok. I'm sure they'd be amazing with music and some sound. We did get to see the Shamu show when the power came back on, and it was great! Another fun filled vacation day in sunny San Diego!

Pip fell in love with this little penguin. She has a book called, "Where is home, Little Pip" that she LOVEs, and this penguin looks just like the one in the book! Can't say no to that little face!
