London's Big Cheer Debut!

So, last week, my friend Natalie called and asked if London wanted to do Clearfield High's Mini Cheer Camp with her daughter Chloe. We talked London's little friend Chelsey into coming, too. Talk about HILARIOUS! She had two "practices" and then the big finale: a half time show at Friday's basktball game. There's nothing more entertaining than a three year old who has next to no rhythm (thanks to her mom) who wants nothing more than to just poop during her big
moment...(Watch the video to see what I mean!)

Baby Reese

She's finally here! York and Jenny had their second little girl yesterday afternoon! Reese Cooper weighed in at 9 lbs 1 oz and 21 1/2 inches long. They sure do make huge, beautiful babies! Jenny is doing great, and York is as proud as I've seen him. Here's some pics from yesterday and today...

Tub Time!

Why is it that kids are so cute when they're either in the tub, or just out of the tub? I definitely cannot say the same for myself! As of late, Beckett is obsessed with the puppy towel and any electric toothbrush. He carries one around the house with him all the time! London's new thing is robes- she puts one on right out of the tub.

London with a robe, a turbie-twist, and a microdermabrader!

Kelli Jo and Shane came over last weekend and London and Boston played so great! No, my kid is not always an exibitionist; she was playing dress ups. Aren't they so cute!

Kids Being Kids!

Today was a good mom day! Sometimes they're few and far between, but I sure love'm when I get them! The kids have been so great! Lots of playing, and minimal fighting. We spent some of the morning at my mom's, then came home for lunch and nap time. After lunch, the kids played forever; London with Pink Baby and her new stroller, and Beckett riding London's "bike." London, the bossy one, kept telling Beckett to get into
the piano room, because that's where the parking lot is. They're pretty cute!
Beckett snuggling with daddy last night. He wasn't feeling his best, so he wanted to snuggle. Of course, when the camera comes near, he says "cheese!" Too bad you can't see that he's just in a diaper under the blanket; he's so squishable!

The Holiday Season!

This Holiday season was as crazy as ever! We moved the first week of December, so the rest of the month felt a little more chaotic than usual. As always, there was lots of family, friends and fun! Christmas eve was spent with the Cooper side of the family; lunch with my dad (in from Pennsylvania) and dinner and a visit from Santa at the annual Cooper Christmas party. London insisted on spending the whole evening dressed as a fairy- complete with wings, tiara, and a boa. Both kids actually sat on Santa's lap without crying, so we considered the event a success. After the party, the kids changed into their new Christmas jammies and Grandma Jilly read "The Tale of Three Trees."
Christmas morning was so fun! We had to wake the kids up around 7:30 because we were supposed to be at Matt's sister's house in Herriman at 9:00 am. Santa left London a digital camera (that's all she has been asking for for months), and a big girl bike. Classic London; when she first came down stairs and saw what Santa had left, she only said, "I told Santa that I wanted a pink camera and a purple one! Where's my purple one?" Not one word about the bike! Then she started in on her stocking. She found a mini reeses in there, ran over to me, hugged me, and said, "Mommy, thank you so much for this circle treat! I just love it!" Still not a word about the bike, but the stocking fillers were a huge hit! (She eventually did ask to ride her bike around the kitchen, but not with nearly as much enthusiasm as those reeses!) Beckett got the Little Tykes basketball set and millions of random balls from Santa. He didn't open a single present; he spent the rest of the morning playing with the balls!
The rest of the day was great! We ate breakfast and exchanged gifts with Matt's side of the family, visited with his stepdad, headed home for naptime, then on to Grandma Jilly's for dinner and more gift exchanging! We really had an amazing holiday season!
