Our own Houdini!

Piper isn't satisfied with merely chewing on an exposed hand. She must have access to the entire arm; just in case. This is her newest trick, and a frequent one!

Pippi

I kid you not; this is Piper's position of choice when hanging out on the couch with mom and dad. I could just eat her!

Beck's Preschool Feast!

(Beck and his awesome noodle necklace!)
This week, Beck had his Preschool Thanksgiving Feast! You've never seen a little guy so excited to a school function! He was most excited because he asked his Grandma Jilly to make turkey cookies to pass out to his friends. For the entire week before the "feast" he talked of nothing else! The day finally came, and the feast was great! Miss Diana made a great beef stew, and the kiddos helped make corn bread. The kids decorated and set the tables. It was seriously so cute! I brought the turkey cookies in a little basket, and Beck insisted on the basket being in his lap the entire meal until he could pass them out. He LOVED passing out the cookies to his friends! It was priceless!

Our Little Pianist!

London has been begging to take piano lessons for what seems like forever! I was lucky enough to get her in with an amazing teacher for piano lessons/music theory classes. She loves, loves, loves it! She's picking everything up so quickly! I started playing when I was 4 and love the piano; I'm so glad that my Londy does too!

I just wanted her picture by the front door; the poses and books were her idea!

Piper at 4 months!

Where has the time gone? My baby is already 4 months old! I can't stand how quickly she is growing up! She is finally over the colicky phase she went through and is such a joy! She's on the verge of rolling, but doesn't seem super motivated to move much. She is a good sleeper, as long as she's sleeping on her stomach; I big no-no, I'm aware, but her pediatrician says it's okay. She loves to cuddle and nurse. She eats every 3 hours in the day and every 5-8 at night. She's been teething for over a month now, so she drools constantly, and chews on her hands every chance she gets. We were really hoping for a binky baby this go around, but alas we've got ourselves another thumb sucker. It really is so cute! She always tries to suck on her hands while she's nursing, and gets frustrated that it doesn't work out! She's taken a bottle 2 or 3 times from milk I've stored, but we tried again this week, and she wasn't a fan. She just went in for her 4 month check up and was 87% in height and 77% in weight; weighing in at 15 lbs 2 oz. She's definitely the smallest of my babies to far! She loves baths, her swing, being held, cooing at mom and dad, and peek a boo. She HATES her carseat, and isn't a fan of the binky. We love our little Piper Jane!
Really mom, another picture?

Not the best picture, but at least she's smiling!

She LOVES her hands!

Beck's New Hat!

Beck has a new obsession; hats! Every store we stop at, he asks for a new hat, and tries on any that he sees! We bought a cute hat for him to go with his holiday getup, and the other day he put on his hat, brought my camera to me (which he's not supposed to touch) and asked me to take his picture. Notice the arms in the pictures; he said he wanted to look just like a ballerina! He's too much!

Disney On Ice!

Reesey kept coming over and she and Beck would just squeeze and kiss eachother. Too cute!
Brandt, Beck (nice smile there buddy) and Londy

I'm absolutely in love with this picture. I love the lenghts Matt goes to make this girl laugh!

Not the greatest family picture, but in a dark arena, it'll have to do!

Matt and Pippi. Look at her ginormous cheeks!!!

Last night was Disney on Ice! We ended up with a pretty big group going (22) so it was super fun! We ate at the Crown Burger, then walked to the venue. The theme was Disney Princesses, so the older boys and dads were less than thrilled, but I think it was super cute! The girls were mesmerized. I loved watching my kids faces as they were watching the show. Priceless! On the way out, we let the kids each pick out a prize. Beck chose a pair of binoculars shaped like those eels from the Little Mermaid, and London again chose a freaking $12 snowcone in a cheap princess cup. I did put my foot down to the $20 spinny things and the $22 plastic sword. The price we pay for memories! At least the kids had a blast!

Halloween 2009!

Beck holding hands with his buddy James during the parade

It was another great Halloween! It was especially fun for London and Beckett because they were both able to celebrate at school. Beck had a cute preschool costume parade and party, and London had her first Kindergarten parade and classroom party. I was able to help out with London's class party, and was in charge of the craft. We made super cute spider door hangers/treat holders with the kiddos. I loved being part of her class party! So fun! London was Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz, Beck was Batman, and Piper was a little ladybug. Too cute!

London and her kindergarten teacher!

Getting the "parade wave" down pretty well!

Londy passing out treats to her class!

Halloween day, we celebrated at Grandma Jilly's annual bash. There was a TON of great food, and we met up with family and friends to hang out, eat, and trick or treat with the kids. We seriously only hit about a dozen or so houses, and I love that we didn't bring home a ton of candy! The kids had a blast! Piper was about the cutest little ladybug, ever! She was fine with the puffy costume, but wasn't thrilled with the hat. I could just eat her!

Proof that I was there! Jenny and I showed up in the same hoodie. Cool, I know...
