The Pipster!

No, the shirt did not begin as a midrift!
I absolutely love this little girl! She is totally into babies now. She LOVES pushing her special baby around in the stroller. I mostly love these pictures because she looks part ragamuffin and part bobble head. Bad angles I guess! Still, she is adorable to me!!!

Sort of bobblehead-ish...

Gotta love her little bum!

Utah Open Golf Clinic

Grammy and Piper
Beck had just fallen asleep in the car when we got there. Poor kid was so tired!

The kids being interviewed by Comcast
A little while back, we met up with Matt's sister's fam and took the kids to the Utah Golf Open for the kids clinic. The pros talked to the kids for a while then answered questions. Then, the kids each got a new driver and a mini lesson with a golf pro. It was seriously so cute! Matt takes the kids out quite a bit on our course, so they LOVE to golf. The both love their new drivers and practice with them all the time! When the clinic was over, the kids were asked to be interviewed by Comcast. Beck was the only one who really talked so they asked him to say, "I'm here golfing with the Utah Open..." He did a great job! So cute!

Beck's first day!

Beck started year 2 of prechool a couple weeks back. I'm awfully slow at posting these days! He loves preschool and is excited to start another year! We love you little buddy!
On his first day, he came home with a little book he'd made titled: "The Story Of ME!"
Each page had a question and he filled in the answers...
I am "4" years old
My Birthday is._________ (guess we need to work on that one!)
There are "5" people in my family. These are the people in my family: "Daddy, Mommy, Beckett, London, and Piper."
These are some things I like to do for fun: "Play Candyland and watch GI Joe."
My favorite food is "fish sticks"
My favorite animal is " a lion"
My favorite book is "the Lion King"
You should get to know me. You will like me because: "I am the cutest!"
Okay, he is the cutest, and apparently he knows it!!!

Spongies!

I'm dying! The spongies made their maiden appearance in the Pipsters hair! I'm slightly biased, but I think she looks darn cute!

He's a Soccer Rock Star!

Beck started soccer last Saturday. Me, being a loser mom, forgot the camera for his first game. It was hilarious. He was seriously a rock star! At one point, he was the only one from his team on the field, (the others were crying) and he held his own against 3 from the other team! He ended up playing the entire game because his teammates were having "emotional issues..." (Think London, the early soccer years) My mom offered him a dollar for every goal he scored. He played his hardest and even though he didn't score a goal, Grandma Jilly delivered, and he's a dollar richer! He was so excited for that dollar. He was running around all afternoon with it, and when I didn't see him holding it anymore, I asked where it was. He proudly smiled, lifted up his shirt, and there it was tucked into his undies. If soccer doesn't pan out for a career, there's always another career where dollars can also be earned and tucked into the undies!
We're so proud of you Beck!

Piper Jane

I'm in love. I fell in love with her the second I saw her. Not when she was growing inside me, mind you. But I knew the second she "came out" that she was incredibly special. She was my hardest pregnancy, which is no small feat! She was my most difficult infant; colic then reflux, then early teething, then chronic ear infections. I don't know if it was my being older, or knowing she was my last, but I have enjoyed her much more than my other babies. Don't get me wrong, I adore my kids, but I was a stress case! This little girl of mine just makes me melt! She is completely squishable still, but is pretty small. She
has the attention span of a fruit fly, too. She is affectionately known around here as "the wanderer." She never stops! She just wanders from room to room to room, finding little places to sit or a minute or so, or finding places to climb on. She loves babies and purses. She doesn't say many words, but constantly hums and sings. Hard to believe, but she usually hums the "nutcracker suite" probably because it's all Beck ever sings. She is beautiful, smart, hilarious, and the list goes on. It's just amazing to me what strong personalities they already have at almost 14 months. She's definitely
been on my mind this week. I finally
decided to wean her from nursing. I know, I know. She's just been the best little nurser! It's been a long, slow weaning process that's been hard on both of us. For weeks, she just followed me around the house, carrying the "Boppy" and whining until I'd nurse her. There's something so final about weaning your last child. I will never nurse another baby. It makes me so sad. It's just another sign that she's growing up, and doing it way to fast!
I took these pics of her this past
weekend. She looks so big to me! I
that she kept sticking her tongue out
for every picture. I love her ginormous baby blues. All the sudden, she's a blonde, too. I swear just a couple of months ago, she had pretty dark brown hair like her mama! She's full of trouble, and we love every second of her!
We love you Miss Pippi Jane!
