Beckett's New Look...

Not only is Beck sporting a studly new haircut; (it was long overdue) He's also added a couple of pounds to his left arm! A week and a half ago, my mom was watching the kids while we went to Matt's work party. We got a call that Beckett had fallen off a bed onto a laptop. The arm was a little swollen, but he actually seemed okay. When we got to my mom's house, we noticed that he wasn't moving the arm at all. We took him to WeeCare and after 2 fun filled hours, (it's after 11:00 pm at this time) they splinted his arm and put him in the world's tiniest sling. On Monday, we took him back to get casted. The first week wasn't fun. He wasn't hurting, but he kept falling and couldn't catch himself, so his whole face was covered in bruises. So sad! He's getting around much better now, and we can't wait to get this cast off in 3 weeks!

The Kids!

Our little London is one of a kind! (those who know her know exactly what I mean!) She's a handful, but is the greatest kid in the world. She wakes up every morning asking to make either crepes or cookies. She loves babies, baking, playing with friends, going to "pretty school" (preschool), making puppets, coloring, and playing soccer. She's our little drama queen!
Beckett is our little buddy! In most ways, he and London are polar opposites! He's our mellow child. He loves all balls (is that inate or what?), dancing, playing with the phone, his sister, and eating. He is attempting to say lots of words now and loves to say: snow, santa, balls, and treat! He plays soccer up and down the halls in our house constantly.

The Story Of Us...

Matt and I have been married for almost 4 1/2 years. We met through mutual friends while living in Salt Lake. How we met, dated, and eventually got married is a story that is very different depending on which of us you ask. Here's the condensed version... We met at a friend's house; I thought he was intriguing; he thought I was fine, but he had enough friends. (his words, not mine) A couple of months later, he kissed me out of the blue, then waited 2 whole weeks to take me on a proper date! We were engaged in May, and married on September 4, 2003 in the Salt Lake Temple.

7 weeks later, we came home from a cruise with a little more than a t-shirt souvenir- we were pregnant! The timing wasn't exactly what we had in mind, but we were thrilled. London Kate was born July 20, 2004. Two years and 6 days later, we had our little buddy; Beckett Cooper. We love our little family! The kids are crazy, and life seems like mass chaos most of the time, but we wouldn't trade it for the world!
