Dress Up!

Do you ever want to put a post it on your kid when you're out in public that says, "they've dressed themselves!" I let London dress herself a lot, but usually just if we're staying home, or if I don't have the energy to fight her. Yesterday, she chose white jeans, and a halter top thingy. (It was snowing outside) I only talked her into putting a white shirt under it by telling her to put her garments on too. (her short sleeved white t-shirt) It doesn't help that she prefers to dress in layers. Today she went in her room for a minute and came out with 3 layers on. A long shirt for a skirt, and two dresses layered on top of that. Luckily she had a halo of terrible silk flowers in her hair to complete the look. She's also on a wedding kick. She pretends to be getting married (dress, veil and flowers) on a daily basis. At least she's creative, right?

London playing dress up (on laundry day) in a fitted sheet, camisol, and using Matt's G top for a veil. Very resourceful!

This is for Amy! She wanted pics of the paintings I did for our bedroom. How about you come see them person! Syracuse isn't that far away!

She is probably the most creative kiddo I've ever met! She is so fun! I love the pictures above the bed too, they look so cute! Good job!

Yes, I do want to let the world know that my girl's dress themselves. I guess sometimes we have to pick our battles though.

Your pics above your bed are way cute. I love the brown and blue look. Very decor savy!

It's still cute and ya know what? People GET IT that girls like to dress up all the time. I can usually tell when it's the mother or the child (except on the odd occasion where you just really HOPE it's the child).
Nice paintings. Will you come to my house and do some for me? I need some cute in my room. I got nada.

Too funny! She is so cute. I used to look at kids and think how could their parents let them dress like that, or why would those parents let their kids out in public like that??? Now that I'm a mom...I totally understand!

I love it. Brayden likes to dress himself too. He always chooses a swimsuit, the only problem is that we live in Alaska where it is cold! London and Brayden are seriously so funny! I would love to see them work together on things. They would be hilarious.
