What we've been up to!

I have no idea where all of our time is going! We've been so busy, but just doing everyday things. Nothing big, but still fun. London came home from school and announced that there was going to be a "race" (a mile or 5K run) next month. She is determined to run in the 5K, so she announced that she had better start practicing! She got on the treadmill and ran a full mile her first time! She definitely does not take after her mommy! She's been "training" like crazy! Too cute!

Beckett was her cheerleader!

an action shot

London is a girl after her mom's own heart. Last week, she came inside and told me that she was having a sale and asked me to bake cookies for it. She set up her little table and chair set, made signs, and then went door to door trying to make some money. (as a sidenote, I used to do this ALL of the time. I sold everything from the Big Nickel magazine, free at the local Circle K, to candy to makeovers. Yes, I actually charged my friends to put makeup on them...) The sign was hilarious! Even better was when Londy tried to convince Beck to go stand on the corner and "wave it around while you dance; just like the Little Ceasars guys!" I thought it was so funny! They sold cookies, apples, and dandelions. The first day was a success. 3 neighbors took pity and gave them a dollar. Now the kids think that they should set up shop EVERY day. They've smartened up and moved the operation to the corner, but they will hopefully realize that saltine crackers, Tootsie Pops, and dandelions aren't big sellers. At least they're having fun!

London working on the sign

Dancing with the sign...

This was last Sunday. We had just come home from my mom's for dinner and since Matter was at work, the kids and I hung out the rest of the evening. Piper spent a lot of time playing under the kitchen table and chairs.

Then our resident golfer grabbed his clubs from outside for some indoor practice.

I could eat this little boy!

London LOVES to read! She is picking it up so quickly and loves to read book after book!

Try to look past the messy hair and jammies and see the cuteness that is Pippi trying to walk!!!

London is her biggest cheerleader!

Something has got to be done about those bangs!

How cool that she is going to run in a race. We have Madelyn signed up for one too and she has been practicing. It is so cute to see their little legs moving!

Isn't it crazy how much energy kids have. My kids could all kick my butt in a race. It's actually pretty pathetic. I love that she got on the treadmill. That's so funny!
