Craft Exchange!!!

How cute is this for July?
A cake plate and cute bookmark!

Homemade beaded chopsticks for my hair!

A cute LOVE banner for the fireplace!

This was sort of hard to get a good picture of! These are "gift bags" of sorts! Emily put cookies in a bread bag, put them in the "cone" and surrounded the cookies with tissue paper. These are made from 12x12 scrapbook paper and embellishments. Just think of the fun things you could deliver in these!

Pancake bowl, tea towl and spatchula! How cute!!!
Let me start off by saying that I married into a great group of friends. Matt and his high school buddies are all still really close, and luckily the wives are too! We get together monthly for playgroups, have annual recipe exchanges, holiday and Halloween get togethers, a Memorial Day BBQ/swim party, etc. One of the friends, Kristy, had the idea to do a craft exchange. We have done mini "Super Saturday" craft days before, but this was so much better! Instead of meeting together and spending your time making crafts, you take your craft, make 12 of the same thing, and then meet together and exchange them! It was as exciting as Christmas morning! We met for brunch this morning and then the exchanging began! It was so much fun seeing what everyone had come up with, and with a budget of $3.50-$5.00 per craft. My craft was a Valentine's Block Trio. I thought it was pretty cute, but I completely forgot to make myself one! I am so excited to use my new decorations as each holiday comes up!
Cute, cute, cute!!!
"Vintage" Vanilla (homemade and I'm sure super yummy...) and homemade cards/tags! Can't wait to use them!

What a great idea! You get dollar store frames, scrapbook paper and glass marbles; use super adhesive, and you've got yourself a darling Valentine's decoration! I've already set these babies up on my entry table and LOVE them!

What a great idea. I love this! I just may have to recruit some of my Tennessee friends into doing one of these. Doesn't compare to my Mormon sistas in Utah though :)
