Okay, I admit I watch the Bachelorette. Matt tries to make me swear that I'll never watch another season, to no avail. Maybe not the greatest use of my time, but I'm sure there are worse things I could be watching! I'm just putting my personal opinions out there. As for Jillian, my two favorites so far are Jake and Kiptyn. I think Jake is going to be "the one" as far as the show goes. Kind of fun to speculate after only 2 shows, but I think I've made some decent picks. Who I can't handle: Wes, and sometimes the Juan. Buggy. That's my opinion about the Bachelorette.
One of my most favorite shows the past couple of years has been Jon and Kate plus 8. I just think of how difficult it is for me to raise 2 children, and freaking out about a third on the way, and finding comfort in watching someone else do it, and not always patiently, with 8 small kids. I just watched the season premiere, and I was seriously so, so saddened! There have been tons of rumors out there (as per my E News Weekend...) that Jon cheated on her, and she may have cheated on him, yada, yada. It was so crazy to watch it, and to know what a difficult time they're going through right now. I've been in a similar-ish situation with my folks, and it's definitely not fun for anyone involved; and it's hard enough to deal with it private, much less on national television. I may be seriously naive, but I really hope that they work it out! Okay, lame post, but my opinion nonetheless!

Not a lame post, brilliant. Reality TV is my weakness. I love, love, love, Jake & Kyptin. Great picks. Jake is my fav. Jon & Kate = heartbreaking.

You mean we could have been talking about The Bachelorette today at the gym? Crud. That show. It is such a stupid waste of time and I hate that I love it so much, but... alas... I do. I need it in my life. I look forward to it every week. K. Juan is so annoying. But not nearly as annoying as Wes. And what the heck is up with her getting rid of the hot Julian guy? She's an idiot. She kept that geeky looking one around instead. I don't get it. She has gotten rid a couple really cute, not annoying guys. But... I like Kyptin and is Jake the pilot? I like him too. We must discuss more.

Oh my gosh. I can't believe I forgot to give my opinions on JK+8. Whoa. What a trainwreck. I feel so so bad about that whole situation. I really wish they'd just pull the plug on the show all-together and focus on their marriage. But after reading all the gossip about the he said/she said stuff, I really don't know who or what to believe. But it's sad.

ha ha ha... I would have to agree with you. Jon and Kate... well, my opinion on that is, I think for the kids sake, they need to focus on their marriage. Personally, I don't know how he really deals with her. She puts him down constantly. She talks to him like one of the kids. She is always snapping at him! I hate to say it, but we kind of chuckle at how much she beats him in the interviews. None-the-less, they need to fix what is going on between them. That stuff is sooo hard on kids!! I just think the wife needs some kind of outlet.
I have always watched the Bachelor and Bachelorette too...this season I've actually not watched it yet. I guess I'm trying to not watch it, but I think I might just give in soon. Anyway, I haven't watched Jon and Kate plus 8, but I've heard the stories and it is so sad. I really think being in the public eye has taken its toll on their marriage and family...so so sad.
I haven't got the bachlor bug yet. But I love j&K plus 8. I agree with you I hope they can work it out.
Okay, since nothing else is on t.v. anymore and I've been sick for a few days now and stuck inside, I've given in and started watching The Bachelorette. I watched the past episodes online and I agree with you...my faves are Jake and Kiptyn (I did like Ed too, but he's gone so now I only like those two). I also agree with you on Wes and Juan, they just try too hard and seem playerish. Anyway, just not my type I guess. It will be interesting to see what happens, she seemed to not as into Jake as she was before...which is sad, she doesn't know what a down-to-earth guy he is day to day.
