We celebrated another Valentine's Day this weekend, and it was great! We have a fun (to me) tradition every year that includes staying home, making homemade, heart-shaped pizza, and watching the NBA All-star skills competition. Lame to some, I know. I look forward to it every year. I love putting the kids to bed early, taking it easy, and snuggling on the couch indefinitely! It was a great Valentine's Day. Most of the celebrating was with the kiddos! Growing up, my mom made a huge deal out of every holiday, and it's inspired me to do the same with my kids; only on a smaller scale! We decorated the kitchen with gifts at each childs' plate, made one of our favorite breakfasts, and spent the day as a family. It was a great day!
Beck is such a sweet little guy, but the inevitable "terrible two's" is ever present! The phase this time around is so much easier, that it's not nearly so stressful. I was taking pictures of London and her "dollar store treasures" when Beck started a meltdown. He's so cute when he's ticked! I love it!

Sounds like a great Valentines. Heart shape pizza is way too cute!! I love that coins London has to earn. Beck is as cute as ever!
What a great V-day! I love the whip cream and strawberries on your french toast...now I know what our Valentine's breakfast was missing.
Sounds like a fun Valentines day to me!!
And your breakfast looked yummy!!
When do you find out what you are having?
I love the breakfast idea. We did the same thing. Pizza and NBA.
I love the heart pizza idea! My Mom made a big deal of holidays and I'm trying to do the same too! I think it gives everyone something to look forward to and anticipation is one of my favorite things!!! I'm glad you had a fun day! We spent it with our kids too! About the craziness...we're in the same boat...I have a 4 year old and a 2 year old and days can be insane sometimes (one reason why I'm worried about having another one). You'll have to keep me posted on how you're surviving it all!
I love it. Your kids are adorable! I think I need to follow the make every holiday fun idea. They all seem to pass me by....
