Heeleys
Beck LOVES his Heeleys! He saved his money to pay for half of them, so he's really taken great care and appreciated them too! He's finally mastered the art of the Heeleys and is a complete maniac on them!
Sickos
The flu bug hit our house in a bad way this week... Piper last Saturday and Sunday; Beck came home sick from school Tuesday, and it it me Wednesday night. Good times... Hopefully the dreaded flu is gone for good!
Grandpa Payne
My grandpa Payne isn't doing well. He's steadily declined in health for the past year or so, but he's been really bad since he was septic about 2 months ago. Hospice was called in 2 days ago and that same day he fell and broke his hip. Right now he's bed ridden. Luckily, his Dr got him into a home for the next 5 days so that he can have around the clock care. My poor grandparents; they love each other and want to take care of each other desperately, but right now neither is able to help the other. We're spending a lot of quality time with them as his end nears. He's been such an incredible person in my life! Not many grandpas coach their granddaughters t-ball teams or watch them every Friday so their mom can work a little bit. He calls almost every day just to say he loves me, and ends up hanging up early because he gets so emotional. He's never without a coin to pull out of my kids' ears. It's been so hard to see him like this, in do much pain and confusion. I just love him so dang much.

Election 2012
I am so incredibly proud and excited to have already voted! Yay for early voting! I love democracy and feeling that whatever the outcome of the election this Tuesday, I had a small part in it...

Halloween festivities
We spent yesterday dressed up celebrating Halloween festivities! We took the kiddos to Young Chevrolet for their Trunk or Treat and costume contest. The kids loved it! Later, London was invited to a coed Halloween party, and the rest if us went to the Syracuse City pumpkin walk and to dinner. Fun, fun day!!!
