She's just trouble!

Who doesn't just LOVE fudge? Well, we shouldn't have left ours so close to the edge of the counter, because Piper is, herself, a huge fan! She not only dumped what was in the pan on the tile, but proceeded to eat all she could until mom and dad found her!

London's Holiday Recital!

London had her holiday piano recital this month. She played "Dancing Elephants" and did an amazing job playing it from memory! She's becoming quite the little pianist! We're so proud of her! I only put the last picture in (the freakishly upclose one) because I love that she has a ginormous piece of licorice on her tooth. Rude, I know. I thought it was a little bit funny...

Pip's Underoos!

Monday is usually laundry day which means piles and piles of clean, folded laundry on the ottoman and couches. Piper takes full advantage of this and ALWAYS finds a pair of the bigger kids' underwear and puts them right over her pants! The ensemble is complete with the one shoe she is always wearing!

Vacation Finale (more like FINALLY...)

Okay, this is officially the longest, drawn out vacation post, ever! Our last day in Disney World was spent at the Animal Kingdom. It was a fun way to end the trip! The best ride by far was the Everest Expedition! We went on it a couple of times and Londy was still begging for more! Beck liked the Dinosaur park, where things are a little calmer! Pippi spent most of the day in the Baby Bjorn either crying, sleeping, or sucking her thumb. Poor kid was so, so sick! She did have moments of happiness. She's a huge corndog fan, so that bought us at least a half hour of smiles... The safari was pretty cool. The kids liked seeing all the animals running around. One of the perks of a smaller park was that all the characters were there and there was next to no line to meet them! It was, however, crazy to see them in their holiday attire when we are in 85 degree Florida weather!
This vacation was so much fun! It was so hard to leave Piper for the first week, but definitely a good decision. She still takes 2 good naps a day and sleeps a solid 12 hours at night, so the cruise would have been spent in the room for her! It was also so fun to be able to spend a lot of quality time with the older kids. For as long as we were gone, and as much as we did in 11 days, they did great! Thanks again for all who helped watch the Pipster while we were gone, and a HUGE thanks to Grammy Jennifer for bringing her to us! It took them 16 hours to fly from SLC to Orlando with delays, mechanical problems, missed flights, etc. She is a trooper!
We learned a lot from this experience. First of all, when cruising, stick with American cruise ships. Second, our kids are suprisingly good little travelers! Who knew? Third, a double stroller is a MUST in Disney World. Maybe our kids are just lazy, but I swear the stroller was heaven sent! Plus, it was loaded with bottled water and tons of snacks! (Another thanks to Grammy for bringing it for us!!!) Fourth, we are so blessed to have been able to spend so much family time together!!!

Disney World; Magic Kindgom

After our cruise, we headed to Disney World! We had Matt's mom fly out with Piper to come with! We missed our little Pipster so much and couldn't bear another 4 days without her! Sadly, she came to Florida a very sick little baby girl! She had croup and was having a hard time sleeping, eating, and even breathing. My wonderful Pediatrician was nice enough to call in some steroids for her, which helped her breathing a ton. She was a rockstar day one, even though she was feeling icky! We had a great time in our 2 days at the Magic Kingdom! We saw and did everything at least twice. The weather was in the mid to high 80's and we were able to walk on almost every ride. Perfection! Pip didn't do so hot the next 2 days...She spent a lot of time being rocked in the Baby Bjorn. Poor kid! Still, we LOVED having her and Jennifer with us in Florida!

The last picture as we left the Magic Kingdom!

Princess Cays, Bahamas

Our final port was Princess Cays, Bahamas. Another dream beach day! Highlights included Beckett finding a hermit crab and carrying it all day, playing in the ocean, me actually laying out for a bit, and souvineer shopping! The weather was gorgeous and we had another great day!

Beck's new friend. Notice the puffiness of his poor little hand. He was in an elevator on the ship and when the doors were opening, he stuck his hand in the side and it got caught. Brilliant. He was pretty swollen and bruised for a couple of days!

London and her personalized Hello Kitty purse and the gal that made it!

Day at Sea: #2

Our second day at sea was MUCH better than the first! We had a blast hanging out outside most of the day! The kids LOVED, well London did, the waterslide! At lunch time, they announced an ice carving demonstration to be followed by a seafood buffet. I was thrilled. Then I saw the seafood display, complete with squid legs draping from anything and everything. Squid were everywhere! The Euros went crazy. Not me.

EWW!
