I'm in love. I fell in love with her the second I saw her. Not when she was growing inside me, mind you. But I knew the second she "came out" that she was incredibly special. She was my hardest pregnancy, which is no small feat! She was my most difficult infant; colic then reflux, then early teething, then chronic ear infections. I don't know if it was my being older, or knowing she was my last, but I have enjoyed her much more than my other babies. Don't get me wrong, I adore my kids, but I was a stress case! This little girl of mine just makes me melt! She is completely squishable still, but is pretty small. She

has the attention span of a fruit fly, too. She is affectionately known around here as "the wanderer." She never stops! She just wanders from room to room to room, finding little places to sit or a minute or so, or finding places to climb on. She loves babies and purses. She doesn't say many words, but constantly hums and sings. Hard to believe, but she usually hums the "nutcracker suite" probably because it's all Beck ever sings. She is beautiful, smart, hilarious, and the list goes on. It's just amazing to me what strong personalities they already have at almost 14 months. She's definitely
been on my mind this week. I finally

decided to wean her from nursing. I know, I know. She's just been the best little nurser! It's been a long, slow weaning process that's been hard on both of us. For weeks, she just followed me around the house, carrying the "Boppy" and whining until I'd nurse her. There's something so final about weaning your last child. I will never nurse another baby. It makes me so sad. It's just another sign that she's growing up, and doing it way to fast!
I took these pics of her this past
weekend. She looks so big to me! I
that she kept sticking her tongue out

for every picture. I love her ginormous baby blues. All the sudden, she's a blonde, too. I swear just a couple of months ago, she had pretty dark brown hair like her mama! She's full of trouble, and we love every second of her!
We love you Miss Pippi Jane!

Yes...I agree...nurse her as long as you want. There is NOTHING wrong with that. I feel the same way about Finn. I know he is my last so I dont want to stop nursing him...only he doesnt really like it that much....but I do : )

LOVE her! She is such a dolly. Hope the weaning is going ok. I'm still struggling so I hope you're doing better than me. :) The tongue is killing me in those pictures. SO dang cute.
