My Valentine...
I love Valentine's Day. I love that Matt and I don't exchange gifts. I love that we watch the NBA slam dunk contest and all-star skills competition and eat homemade pizzas. I love that little gifts for the kiddos at breakfast with a themed meal. I love a day to celebrate love. Most of all, I love that it's not much is different from every other day. I love that Matter tells me in every phone conversation that he loves me. I love that we always hold hands in the car. I love that we're completely content putting the kids to bed and snuggling on the couch, watching a show, and calling it date night. I love that he still loves me even after seeing my best impression; I'm a dead ringer for those blow up air blown stick figures you see outside of stores. I love feeling so, so loved. I am so lucky and feel so blessed that we're forever!

Craft Exchange!!!
Let me start off by saying that I married into a great group of friends. Matt and his high school buddies are all still really close, and luckily the wives are too! We get together monthly for playgroups, have annual recipe exchanges, holiday and Halloween get togethers, a Memorial Day BBQ/swim party, etc. One of the friends, Kristy, had the idea to do a craft exchange. We have done mini "Super Saturday" craft days before, but this was so much better! Instead of meeting together and spending your time making crafts, you take your craft, make 12 of the same thing, and then meet together and exchange them! It was as exciting as Christmas morning! We met for brunch this morning and then the exchanging began! It was so much fun seeing what everyone had come up with, and with a budget of $3.50-$5.00 per craft. My craft was a Valentine's Block Trio. I thought it was pretty cute, but I completely forgot to make myself one! I am so excited to use my new decorations as each holiday comes up!
Cute, cute, cute!!!
"Vintage" Vanilla (homemade and I'm sure super yummy...) and homemade cards/tags! Can't wait to use them!
What a great idea! You get dollar store frames, scrapbook paper and glass marbles; use super adhesive, and you've got yourself a darling Valentine's decoration! I've already set these babies up on my entry table and LOVE them!

Beck at Bedtime...
I'm a stickler for bedtime and bedtime rules. It helps to maintain what is left of my sanity. The number one rule is "no leaving your bed." It takes out all the "I need another drink of water," or "I'm hungry" bits. I love that once I tuck my little ones in bed I can go downstairs and unwind from the day. My kids are really great about the bedtime rules. If they need something, they just call out for one of us, and we go in and check on them. I don't mind doing this every once in a while. Beck, however, has a terrible habit of calling out for us A LOT these days! Not with urgent questions or concerns, either. Well, to him it might be important, but to me it is a little, well, annoying-depending on how late it is! The past few nights, he's called me to his room for the following reasons...
"Um, Mommy? Can we go to Grandma Jilly's right now?" Um no.
"Um, Mommy? Can we go to Cherry Hill tomorrow" Um no, it's winter. (This one is asked nearly every night...)
"Um, Mommy? When will we have a post office in our house?" Um, never.
"Um, Mommy? I can't find my Yadybugs! (his ladybug blanket)" Um, check around your feet...
"Um Mommy? Can I watch Little Einsteins after my nap tomorrow?" How about we talk about that tomorrow and not at 2:30 in the morning...
