WARNING! Major picture overload, and some major issues with picture/text placement. For some reason, I can't move the pictures or text around like I wanted. If anyone but Matt or my mom makes it to the end of this post, let me know, and I'll consider you my new best friend!
We love Easter! It's a holiday weekend filled with tons of fun and family get togethers. I love telling my children the story behind easter. I love Cadbury Mini-eggs. I love all the hunts, food, and easter baskets. I love even more that I'm approaching 30 and still get a fantastic easter basket from my mom! We had an especially memorable Easter this year because my wonderful Grandma Cooper passed away a couple days before, and there's no better way to explain to small children about eternal families and the true meaning of easter, than when a loved ones passes away. She will be truly missed!
We had a fun filled Saturday, starting with my mom's annual Easter Brunch/egg hunt. The greatest part, other than the food, is the adult hunt. Did I mention that for the second year running, I found the "golden egg" which is a prize of dinner, a movie, and the best part, babysitting included??? It was a good day!
Sunday, the kids woke up to their baskets, had a mini egg hunt in the living room, then got ready for church. We headed south to Matt's mom's house for brunch and another great egg hunt. The kids had such a great time! We had a quick Easter dinner at my mom's house, then off to my Grandma's viewing. It definitely was an action packed weekend! We love Easter!
