We started our weekend a little early and headed up to Snowbird on Thursday night. Matt's stepdad has a timeshare up there, and we thought we'd take advantage! Even though we weren't up there for very long, we had a great time; minus the terrible night's sleep Matt and I had! We decided to each sleep in a queen sized bed with a kid, which we have never done before. Sounds pretty easy, right? Well London talks ALL night long in her sleep, and Beck is never in one spot for more than a minute or so. He fell off the huge bed at least once, and didn't allow much opportunity for Matt to sleep! They've got a great outdoor, heated pool that the kids loved. It's heated to like 95 degrees and was like swimming in a bathtub! We woke at the crack of dawn (not good) and headed home after breakfast. It was a fun, mini-getaway!
Now onto the Annual "Friends'" Halloween Party! Matt and his high school buddies are all still freakishly close, and we all get together for a fun Halloween party every year. This year, the Dehlin's hosted. We usually have a seperate recipe exchange (the wives do) but this year and last we decided to combine the two, so we got to try lots of yummy new recipes, too! Notice a difference in the Snowbird vs. Party pictures? I FINALLY got my camera back! No more blurry pictures for us!

I love costume parties. Everyone looks so good. I also love timeshares up at Snowbird. I have lots of fond memories of spending time up there.

I never used to think Halloween was fun. Weird, I know. You'd think I loved dressing up since it's my birthday and all, but.... no. It's still not my fave, but I'm coming around. We just went to a Halloween party yesterday and I thought to myself, 'Ya know what? This IS fun.'
I'm borrowing your costume next year. Consider yourself forewarned.
Darn...I wish we could have gone up to Snowbird :( I know it was a short trip, but looks like you guys had fun. Cute costumes. I bet you're glad YOU didn't have to use Duct Tape for yours, like I did! ;)
