Mother's Day was great. Lots of running around, but fun. We had 9:00 church, then headed to Riverton for lunch and to celebrate with Matt's mom and sister. We went straight from there to my mom's for dinner and to celebrate her birthday. Did I mention that I have a fantastic mom? She's definitely worth celebrating! We left our house at 8:50 am and didn't get home until after 7:00 pm. We then went to visit with our great neighbors and stayed until 9:30 pm.
We got the kids into bed (almost 2 hours later than usual) and realized that the Survivor finale had recorded. So at 10:00 pm, Matt and I started the THREE HOUR process of finding out who won. Made for a pretty late night, but thank heavens for TIVO! We started watching Survivor a couple of seasons ago, and now we're hooked! I'm pretty bummed about the final vote. Yeah, I'm probably the only one, but I really wanted Amanda to win! Plus, I really want her and Ozzy to get married, or at least date for a while because I think they're super cute. I am a huge winner, I know! Who even cares about these crazy reality shows; other than me!?! I just may do another post tomorrow about the Batchelor finale- just to make Matt crazy. Am I the only one who watches it and thinks that maybe, just maybe it'll really work out?
Finally, I broke down and bought my own Mother's Day present this year. Normally, I only like surprises for gifts, but I splurged on something online, and felt a little less guilty telling Matt when I said that it could be my Mother's day gift. Happy Mother's day to me!
It'll be here around May 21st, and I can't wait! Sorry for the marathon of a post! Thanks for reading my randomness!

Most holidays are like that for us since there's always so many places to visit. Luckily for me, yesterday wasn't that bad.

okay we don't watch survivor but as we were flipping through the channels last night it caught our eye. the women against them men...and taking them all out...how stupid were those guys. i mean come on. if you have immunity...use if for yourself. we were dying.

I LOVE Survivor and have watched every season. I wanted Amanda too. I didn't think Parvati deserved it. And The Bachelor...wow! I'm glad he picked Shayne over Chelsea, but I really wanted Amanda. You are not the only one that watches and obsesses over it!!!!

I'm so glad I got to read this post... I saw something about "survivor" in it when I was checking your blog the other day... but I hadn't watched yet so I quickly shut it before I saw any spoilers. I just finished watching my DVR'd copy, so I finally get to check your blog again! I love reality shows, too!
I tried to post earlier and it didn't work so here I go again. Anyway, I ordered a Wii Fit too. We need to have a Wii Girls Night. We can play DDR and Guitar Hero. They are releasing Rock Band for the Wii next month so maybe we should wait for that. Actually, we need to stop talking about getting together and just do it. What are you doing Saturday afternoon/evening?
I just saw an ad for the wii fit and I instantly wanted it. So of course I'm totally jealous. You'll have to do a post on how you like it and the results you get. Cuz I'm way interested!!!

Ya, I wanted Amanda also! But the whole last hour of survivor I was just waiting to see if they were together or not, it was killing me! I think OZZY was so so cute, I hope they work out!
How funny that we posted on the same things. I love Survivor and The Bachelor too. I can't wait for The Bachelorette to start. Don't worry I was an Amanda fan too.
Todd never gets sick either and he has had this awful cold for like two weeks and I was actually so glad. I know that sounds mean but I felt it was time for him!!! Happy Mother's day Wiifit huh you will have to tell us how it works I will need something after this kid!!
