She did it!
An action shot!

Matt and Londy all ready to start the mile race!

The fam all ready to race!

Londy and Grandma Jilly!
We just ran in our first family 5K race! It was a fundraiser for London's school and she's been so excited to participate! London and Matter ran the mile run first and she did so great! She only walked once or twice, and more importantly, she finished and got a gold medal! She was thrilled. Then we packed up the double jogging stroller and started the 5k. I have to be the world's worst runner, but we finished! Beck and London took turns being in the stroller and running with Grandma Jilly. Such a fun family night!

Playing Dress Ups...

Oh the things the kids get into when mommy is busy with the baby! London dressed Beck up (again) and he was loving it! I wish I would have taken a picture of the ginormous headband and flower he had on just before he put the hat on! Someday these will make fantastic blackmail pictures!

Beck's "Stalk Bean!"

I just love this little guy! He planted a seed at preschool a couple of weeks ago and it has actually lived! It's a green bean plant. Instead of a beanstalk, he lovingly refers to it as his "stalk bean." It's grown 2 beans already! Not too shabby!

Londy's New Haircut!

London has been dying to get her haircut. I was thinking a trim. She wasn't! We cut 8 inches off! She loved it at first, but now says I forced her to cut her hair. What a girl! I think it's darling!

Londonisms...

I wish I could just follow my kids around with a tape recorder and record all the cute and funny things they say! Like the way London says magnet. She says "mack-nick." She also never says "without;" it's always just "out." For example, she'll ask for a hotdog "out ketchup." I love it!
I mentioned in a previous post that Londy is on a selling streak. She loves to set up camp on the corner and sell almost anything! I asked her the other day what they were doing with the money they were making. Granted I think in the past month they've only made a couple of bucks, so nothing big here... She thought about it and said that part of the money was going to her friend Jordan and the rest, "we're giving back to the community." Try not laughing about that one! She said that there were so many kids with out things in the community that she needed to help out. She's a good kid!

Yet another weekend getaway!

We took the kids, along with Matter's Mom, to St. George and Vegas last week. We had such a great time! Pippi was FINALLY great on the ride down. She literally didn't make a peep, and she was awake the whole time! We left icky, snowy northern Utah for nice, sunny Southern Utah. It was so nice down there! We spent a lot of time at the park, shopping, and just hanging out. Saturday, we loaded the kids in the car and headed to Vegas! The kids have been dying to see some tigers for the longest time. We've actually tried the last couple of times we've been, but we kept going to the Mirage where you now have to practically sell your firstborn to see the tigers. So, we smartened up and took the kids to the MGM. They LOVED the lions there! I was pretty impressed myself! We let Beckett choose anywhere for lunch, and he immediately said, " I want the Cafe Rainforest Rio." Mmmm. Rainforest Cafe it is! We hadn't been since we took the kiddos to Disneyland last year, but he remembered it anyways! Minus the part where we paid $10 for each of the kids meals, it was a lot of fun! Beck loved all the moving animals and the huge fish tank in the restaurant. We headed to the Circus Circus next. I'm pretty sure Matt had more fun than the kids did! We spent way too much time and money playing games to try and win about a million crappy stuffed animals. I so wish I had my camera with me there! Later on, we headed back to St. George for the rest of the weekend! Fun little getaway!

Super excited to take a picture with mommy!

Sadly, the best group shot of the whole trip! Beck, Jennifer (Matt's mom) Matt and Pip with the lion at the MGM
